Holiday destination
Our holidaymakers really appreciate not being able to spend their holiday in a “HUT VILLAGE”. We are located on the edge of the largest nature reserve in the Alps – the HOHE TAUERN National Park in the Lungau-Nockberge Biosphere Park. Surrounded by the Niedere and Radstädter Tauern, the Murtalhütte is located at 1,120m above sea level (easily accessible by car in winter) in a unique and distinctive mountain landscape. You can expect wonderful alpine pastures, mountains with glaciers, crystal-clear mountain water, 60 deep blue mountain lakes, breathtaking waterfalls, combined with a flora and fauna that you will not find anywhere else in this diversity.
