Our holiday home is located in the midst of Füssen's spa area of Bad Faulenbach on a southern slope. The idyllic Faulenbach Valley is very nearby with lovely natural bathing lakes and romantic hiking and biking trails. You can reach the historic old town in only ten minutes on the footpath along the Lech.
The Frauenschuh apartment was awarded 4 stars (DTV) and is made up of a living/bedroom, kitchen, shower/toilet. There is also a south-facing balcony.

Enchanting Füssen, with its historic old town and the high castle is located at the end of the Romantic Road, embedded in mountains, lakes and the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. In nearby Steingaden you'll find the world-famous Wieskirche (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Explore the Allgäu Alps, whether on foot or using the numerous mountain lifts, or relax with a dip in one of the many natural lakes and recharge your batteries for the time after your holiday.
The cities of Munich, Augsburg or Innsbruck (Tyrol) are wonderful for day trips.
