If you are a golf fan, you can take in a round on the public golf course in Wervershoof or Westwoud, both are only a short distance way from Enkhuizen.

Leaving the house, you are straight in the heart of the city with its’ small shops, great restaurants, fishmongers and many pubs. The different harbours offers large terraces where you can enjoy the typical ambiance that the harbours have to give.
De Drommedaris, the Zuiderzeemuseum, the beach and the swimming pool are within walking distance. The “Streekbos” forest can be reached within 10 minutes by car and offers great walking routes.
For a visit to Hoorn, Amsterdam or Alkmaar there is a great trainconnection, the train station is within 10 minutes walking distance of the house.
If you like shopping then take a short drive over the dike from Enkhuizen to Lelystad, where the outletvillage Bataviastad offers you boutiqes of top brands.
- A 10, A 7 Leeuwarden, exit 9 Hoorn, Enkhuizen (N 302).
After 20 km, turn right at the trafficlight in Enkhuizen.
At the next traffic light, turn left, go to Prinsenstraat (at the corner cafe Centrum), turn right.
The road goes uphill slightly, you are at De Dijk.

- At the roundabout towards Enkhuizen (N302) At the end of the Houtribdijk first traffic light, for the Wilhelminabridge left, at the end of the road turn right over the bridge, turn right again: you have arrived at the Dijk.
