Description

La Mosella was a farmhouse and is situated in a quiet position on the outskirts of the village of Riol, only 14 kilometres from Trier. You live alone in this house. Within view are the slopes of the vineyards and the river Mosel, only 300 metres away, offers the possibility of fishing, water sports etc. The Mosel cycle path is directly accessible from the house. From a terrace which is not overlooked from the street you can barbecue, drink coffee or let your children play. Shops, pubs and restaurants are available in the vicinity.

Special features

The Mosel country is not only famous for its wine. Its unique river landscape, picturesque villages and small towns make the Mosel land an enchanting holiday destination. Variety is the spice of life in the Mosel valley.

Holiday destination

Riol is a small village on the Mosel with approximately 1100 inhabitants. Life here is very influenced by wine growing and you can try and buy in romantic and cosy wine tasting bars and caverns. Riol has Germany’s “beautiful village” competition on several occasions. There are countless leisure possibilities. In Trier, Germany’s oldest city, you can visit: the Roman Emperor’s Baths, the Porta-Nigra (Roman city gate) the cathedral and the Emperors Palace. You will also find the birth house of our most well known citizen Karl Marx, who was born and spent his childhood and youth here. Our neighbours Luxemburg and France are just a few kilometres away.

Getting there

Coming from Cologne on the motorway A1, take the exit Trier/Schweich then leave the motorway directly via the exit Lonquich/Fell and take the road in the direction of Lonquich, continuing straight ahead for approximately 2 km to Riol.

Gesamturteil gut.
Treppe in 1 OG sehr steil (mit Gehbehinderung nicht geeignet).
Essbesteck ist viel zu wenig vorhanden / Kaffeepöte teils defekt (Risse& Abplatzungen).
Rollade zur Terasse lässt sich nur von aussen in Betrieb setzen.
Innenrolladen teils renovierungsbedürftig.
Waren aber trotzdem zufrieden, da es nur Kleinigkeiten waren die nicht i.O. sind.
Gegend ist Traumhaft schön.
Parken mit dem PKW ist nicht direkt vor dem Haus möglich, sondern ca. 50 Meter weiter.
Besten DANK für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Es sind 12 Messer, 12 Gabeln, 12 Löffel, usw. vorhanden, dadurch dass eine Spülmaschine vorhanden ist, dürfte dies eine zufriedenstellende Menge sein. Leider gehen einige Gäste nicht sorgfältig mit den Innenrollos um, so müssen wir diese immer wieder austauschen (erfolgt dreimal jährlich) Auch die Kaffeebecher werden zweimal im Jahr kontrolliert und ersetzt. Wo Gegenstände benutzt werden können auch Gebrauchsspuren auftreten. Wir denken das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist super gut. Viele Gäste loben unser gemütliches, sehr sauberes Haus und haben sich wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt ! Das Haus war sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war alles wie in der Beschreibung vorhanden. Weiter gab es sogar eine kleine Garage für die Fahrräder. Wir hatten glück mit dem Wetter und haben viel in der Gegend unternommen.
