The area around the lake Neusiedlersee has a special charm at every time of the year - a discovery that will be worthwhile. The lake is at your doorstep and invites for sunbathing, swimming, sailing and surfing. For children there is a waterpark and adventure playground.
From Mörbisch you can reach many cities and regions. On the other side of the lake lies the Seewinkel, a World Cultural Heritage and conservation area with unique birdlife. Vienna is only 60km away.Also short trips zto Hungary and Slovakia are recommended.
The old free town Rust (7km), famous for its good wines, has a lovely town centre and many Heurige. St Margarethen has a Roman stone pit, where operas are shown in summer.
Motorway A1 Linz-Wien > interchange Steinhäusl before Wien > A21 Alland towards interchange Vösendorf > A2 Graz to interchange Guntramsdorf (8 km) > A3 via interchange Eisenstadt towards exit Eisenstadt-Süd.
From here via Trausdorf, St. Margarethen and Rust to Mörbisch. The holiday home is located in the village centre in a quiet alley.

This house was built 150years ago by winegrowers. We have bought it in 1975 and refurbished it. Back then we have lost our hearts to Mörbisch and we feel bonded to the area and the people as well as to the Pannonian climate.
