Holiday on the sunny side of Bad Hofgastein
This hut is situated in a secluded location at the edge of the forest of the Stubnerkogel and offers a fantastic view across the Gastein Valley. Away from everyday stress and hectic, groups of friends and holidaymakers enjoy here carefree days surrounded by a unique panorama.
The little house appears very rustic from the outside and, with its old dark wood, fits beautifully in the unique mountain world. The rooms have in part been renovated and fitted with new high-quality elements and furniture in farmhouse style. The old masonry and creaking wooden floorboards have been preserved just like the original wood-fired stove in the high-quality kitchen. The sauna with exit to the outside is the highlight of the holiday home with hut character.
The hut is surrounded by plenty of nature. Colourful alpine pastures in bloom or snow-covered winter landscape - there are almost endless opportunities for active holidaymakers and sportsmen and women to experience the mountains for real. Hikers, walkers, mountain bikers or ski tourers can start their activities directly at the hut’s doorstep. Whether as a family or with friends the hut is perfect for spending time together.
Depending on the snow situation, the Angertal downhill run leads directly to the hut. Also a descent from the Schlossalm lift and the Sommerkogel is possible directly to the house (approx. 50 m), depending on the snow situation also. The slope is groomed, but unfortunately the ascent is only possible from the valley station.
An excursion to the summit of the local mountain, the Stubnerkogel, is very rewarding: Apart from the 140-m long suspension bridge swaying gently in the wind, there is now the new attractive “Glocknerblick” observation platform directly opposite.
Tip: For mountain fans: the hut is ideal located for skitouring - several routes start directly at the hut. For relaxing, the Alpentherme Gastein: The thermal spa with relaxation and family world is the heart of the Alpentherme Gastein. The thermal water comes from the depths of the Hohe Tauern.
