Near our holiday flat, you will have the opportunity to take the cable car and to float above the vines. A romantic tour leads you from Assmannshausen up to Niederwald-Park by cable car. There are many great vista points as well as the world-famous "Germania" Niederwald monument. Continue by cable car to Rüdesheim, and return by ship including a tour of the castle.
You will be staying in the Unesco Heritage Site of the Upper MIddle Rhine Valley. Castles and palaces, monasteries and abbies line both sides of the Rhine River. Dive into Rheingau culture with its villages hundreds of years old, its wine taverns and winery bars. Locally, you will find a modern indoor pool with 3 pools, a heated outdoor pool with non-swimmer pool and counter-current system. A pony farm and air-glider airfield and much more...

Coming by car, you can take the B42 from Wiesbaden through the Rheingau region until Assmannshausen. Alternatively, you can drive to Aulhausen from Rüdesheim. Drive through the town of Aulhausen. 500 m after Aulhausen, take a left right across from the State Winery of Assmannshausen.
Coming from the B42 from Koblenz, continue towards Aulhausen when you reach Assmannshausen. You will find us after 1 km across from the State Winery. We living in a new residential area away from all the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to jump right into it if needed.
100 m away from the holiday flat, you will find the bus stop for Line 187 of the RTV transport company. The bus from here takes you either to the centre of Assmannshausen or you can travel in the opposite direction via Aulhausen and to Rüdesheim.
