Holiday destination
Located in the heart of a nature reserve and right on the property’s own Lüttensee lake with a dock, you can observe a wide variety of birds and wildlife. There is a beautiful swimming spot at Stocksee, about 500 meters away. The surrounding hay meadows and horse paddocks are managed by the local farm. Numerous hiking and biking trails wind around Stocksee all the way to Lake Plön. The Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg and events in the rural village of Stocksee offer nearby diversions.
Getting there
By car from the south or north on the A 21, take the Trappenkamp exit, head toward Tensfeld, then toward Bosau; in Hornsmühlen, turn onto Mühlenweg at the sharp curve, drive over the small bridge and continue uphill, then turn left onto the private road (signs for “Dead End” and “Nature Reserve”), which leads directly to Seekate (Mühlenweg 21).

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, alles sehr gepflegt und genau wie beschrieben angetroffen. Hier findet man Erholung in traumhafter Ruhe und Natur. Wanderungen mit dem Hund, Fahrradtouren zum oder um den Plöner See vom Haus aus, alles kein Problem.
Auch ein Besuch an den Ostseestränden lohnt immer und ist problemlos machbar.
Unser Hund liebte das Feld vor dem Haus allerdings fast noch mehr ....
Alles in Allem: Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal zur Seekate zurück.
