Holiday destination

The local beaches are just 2km from the house along quiet lanes, a short bicycle ride away. They are unspoilt and uncrowded even in summer, and you may take your dog(s). The village is situated between the towns of Portbail and Barneville-Carteret, both have a good selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and a lively weekly street market. Further afield are the beautiful Cap de la Hague, Nez de Jobourg and there is a ferry for day trips to Jersey running from Carteret. Day trips to Bayeux, Granville and Cherbourg are also recommended.
