Holiday destination

The harbour of Surville is a designated natural Park, with unspoilt golden sandy beaches stretching for kilometres in either direction. The nearby market towns of Portbail, la Haye du Puits and Barneville Carteret have a good selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants as well as a weekly street market. Further afield, there is plenty to visit including cherbourg, Bayeux, Granville and the Mont st. Michel. There are day trips across to the Channel islands of Jersey and Guernsey.

So willkommen als Gast haben wir uns noch in keiner Unterkunft bisher gefühlt! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Madame D'André ist eine sehr freundliche und liebenswürdige Dame, sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und stünde für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, fast einsam. Nachts hört man Käuzchen und es spazieren auch mal Rehe über den großen Innenhof. Diese Naturnähe haben wir sehr genossen, es war es sehr entspannend! Der Strand, fußläufig in 15 Minuten zu erreichen, ist sehr schön. Man kann lange, herrliche Strandspaziergänge machen und natürlich baden. W-LAN hat gut funktioniert. Wir würden sehr gern wiederkommen, und sagen Danke für die gute Zeit! J'espère à bientôt!

Sehr freundlich wurden wir von Gerard und Christin empfangen. Das Cottage, die Einrichtung und das Anwesen sind superschön, zum wohlfühlen und genießen. Das Meer ist fußläufig zu erreichen, die Sonnenuntergänge waren traumhaft. Die Umgebung ist sehr einsam. Anreisen mit dem Auto und am besten mit Fahrrädern ist empfehlenswewert. Herrlich zum Radeln. Internet WLAN funktionierte nicht, das Netz hatte ebenso schlechten Empfang, deutsches Fernsehprogramm gibt es auch nicht. Uns hat es trotzdem richtig gut gefallen.
