Our "WAKENITZ-Villa Anno 1922", is a fully listed monument of the 20's of the last century on a large about 2000 m² property in one of LÜBECK's most prestigious quarters, with private access to the river WAKENITZ - the so-called "Amazonas of the North" surrounding LÜBECK - by a wooden landing stage, and only 10 min (950 m) gorgeous walk to the old city island (free parking place in front of the house, - eventually garage for your bikes).

I am renting temporarily only - during my professionnal absence and except my home-office - my own private appartement on the ground floor, antiquely furnished and largely renovated in 2014 -2019 (oak parquet, terrazo flooring in the conservatory, paint work, electricity etc. and 2018/2019 : west facade of the house) to gather funds for this monument.

Equally special in our eyes is that our WAKENITZ-VILLA ANNO 1922 is completely listed, so you will encounter historical details everywhere and a very special atmosphere inherent in the walls. ,
ATTENTION dog owners: In individual cases we also accept dogs etc. if proof of an appropriate insurance is provided, which also includes rented holiday apartments. However, the property is only partially suitable for dogs, as it is not fenced in towards the neighbor on the left. However, we still accommodated various highly satisfied guests with adequately trained dogs (some of which even provided us with photos). My housekeeper, who is also a dog trainer, therefore asks for information about the breed and age of the dog right away with your request, in order to be able to assess the suitability of our WAKENITZ Villa Anno 1922 for your darling.
The river WAKENITZ, with privat swimming access at the end of the garden! Furthermore at 5-7 by foot: boat rental & excursion steamer for the "Amazon of the North" to Rothenhusen / Ratzeburg. Theater 23 on the Wakenitz + botanical / school garden 10 minutes on foot; within about 10 min. walking distance the entire old town island UNESCO World Heritage Site, several museums, churches, very complete night & cultural live, Nordic Film Days etc..Baltic Sea beach Travemünde in approx. 18 km distance (also easily accessible by bicycle); Lauer Holz, WAKENITZ hiking trail; Skating over the frozen WAKENITZ in winter or pulling the children by sledge (sledge available).

ENGLISH TRANSLATION: If the tenant withdraws from the contract he owes a remuneration as follows:
withdrawel up to 44 days before the rent ist beginning 30% of the rent
withdrawel up to 30 days before the rent ist beginning 50% of the rent
withdrawel up to 14 days before the rent ist beginning 80% of the rent
The declaration of withdrawel has to be done in writing. For the calculation of the a.m. deadlines the reception of the said written declaration of withdrawel by the owner of the house is decisive.
If the WAKENITZ-VILLA 1922 can be rented under the same conditionto someone elses, the former tenant is only charged a processing fee of 5% of the rental price, but at least 50.00 €. If the holiday home can only be rented at a discount, the former tenant must pay the difference amount, plus the processing fee, but not exceeding the amount resulting from paragraph 1.
