Holiday destination
The holiday home is situated in the beautiful coastal village of Dornumersiel. Restuarnts, cafés, Shops
and a bakery are located nearby as well as the health resort.
To get to the beach and harbour, you walk about 1,4km along the Mahlbusen (local bay).
Dornumersiel is the ideal base for your holiday in East Frisia and the German North Sea coast.
Whether by foot, canoeing, car, bus or ship – Dornumersiel offers many options for trips and
sightseeing.
Getting there
Coming from the south, you take the A31 to Emden, then switching to the A28 to Oldenburg until the
exit “Leer-Ost”. From here on, follow the B436/B72 to Aurich. Coming from Bremen, you take the
A28 to Aurich.
In Aurichen, turn right in the city-centre onto the B210 to Wittmund. After 2,2km, turn left at the
junction onto the Dornumer Straße (direction: “Inseln”).
From here on, follow the road for 25km until reaching the dyke, then turn right and follow the road
along the dyke to Dornumersiel. At the junction in the village centre (next to the Markant market),
turn right again to continue driving along the dyke for another 600m. Then you’ll see a small group of
trees on the left side of the road and right behind it, there a house right behind the dyke: Welcome,
you have reached your destination!

Das Ferienhaus von Fam. Meltzer ist ein richtig schnuggeliches, mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Urlaubsparadies. Schon bei der Einfahrt zum Haus hat man sich wohlgefühlt. Ein sehr traumhaft angelegtes Anwesen, wo man die Seele frei baumeln lassen kann. Im Haus selbst, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Auf dem Küchentisch stand eine Begrüßung für uns bereit, nebst frischen Blumen auf dem Küchen-und Wohnzimmertisch. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, die Matratzen 1a, haben super geschlafen. Frau und Herr Meltzer sehr sympathische Leute, haben einem das Gefühl, hier kommst du zu Freunden zu Besuch. Der Sohn sehr hilfsbereit. Er spielte sogar Taxi für uns. Man merkt, diese Familie ist mit Herzblut dabei. Vielen lieben Dank für alles. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Sabine und Jürgen

Liebe Frau Meltzer. Vielen Dank für Ihren sehr netten Empfang. Man hatte direkt den Eindruck, man kommt zu Freunden. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe und Herz eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber und der große, gepflegte Garten lädt zum verweilen ein.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen.
