Holiday destination

It’s about 300 metres to REWE, the DM store and the bakery, where you can enjoy a brilliant breakfast. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. You can set off on walks straight from here. The Ostrachdamm, just 500 metres away, takes you on lovely cycle rides towards Bad Hindelang or south to Oberstdorf. On the way back, you can cool off at one of the two refreshing lakes with crystal-clear water. Come along, have a look round and enjoy your stay!

Getting there

It’s about 300 metres to REWE, the DM store and the bakery, where you can enjoy a brilliant breakfast. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. By car: Take the motorway from Ulm to the Allgäu junction; from there, head towards Oberstdorf until the Waltenhofen exit, then take the B19 towards Sonthofen. Take the first exit for Sonthofen, then follow the signs for Bad Hindelang at the roundabout. At the large junction, turn left towards Burgberg. Google Maps gives incorrect directions: Please stay on Grüntenstraße until you see the REWE and DM shops on your right. Here, turn into Nordstraße just before the car dealership. The first street on the left is our Johann-Socher-Straße. You have reached your destination at the second house on the right, No. 4.

Wir waren zu zweit für 10 Nächte da und es war alles super. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Einkaufsläden, Bahnhof und Aktivitäten sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und alles ist schön gelegen. Ich fahre seit fast 10 Jahren immer wieder für ein paar Wochen nach Sonthofen/Bayern, um eine Freundin zu besuchen und diese Ferienwohnung war mit Abstand die schönste. Man hat zwar kein WLAN, aber im Urlaub möchte man ja auch nicht den ganzen Tag nur drinnen rumsitzen, sondern auch draußen die Natur erkunden und Aktivitäten genießen. Kann die Ferienwohnung also nur sehr empfehlen und wer weiß, vielleicht sieht man sich nächstes Jahr nochmal wieder. Liebe Grüße, Lea und Mark

Eine wirklich gute Ferienwohnung. Super in Schuss/relativ modern möbliert. Sehr viel Ausstattung (mehr als ich sonst gewöhnt bin). Preis-Leistung ist super. Die Lage ist auch gut: Supermarkt + Bäcker um die Ecke. Eigener Parkplatz vorhanden. Es gibt zwar kein W-LAN, aber ganz ehrlich: Man kommt ja wegen der vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Und heutzutage gibt es ja auch ausreichend mobile Daten. Alles in Allem aber sehr zu empfehlen!
