Holiday destination

It’s about 300 metres to REWE, the DM store and the bakery, where you can enjoy a brilliant breakfast. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. You can set off on walks straight from here. The Ostrachdamm, just 500 metres away, takes you on lovely cycle rides towards Bad Hindelang or south to Oberstdorf. On the way back, you can cool off at one of the two refreshing lakes with crystal-clear water. Come along, have a look round and enjoy your stay!

Getting there

It’s about 300 metres to REWE, the DM store and the bakery, where you can enjoy a brilliant breakfast. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. By car: Take the motorway from Ulm to the Allgäu junction; from there, head towards Oberstdorf until the Waltenhofen exit, then take the B19 towards Sonthofen. Take the first exit for Sonthofen, then follow the signs for Bad Hindelang at the roundabout. At the large junction, turn left towards Burgberg. Google Maps gives incorrect directions: Please stay on Grüntenstraße until you see the REWE and DM shops on your right. Here, turn into Nordstraße just before the car dealership. The first street on the left is our Johann-Socher-Straße. You have reached your destination at the second house on the right, No. 4.

Eine wirklich gute Ferienwohnung. Super in Schuss/relativ modern möbliert. Sehr viel Ausstattung (mehr als ich sonst gewöhnt bin). Preis-Leistung ist super. Die Lage ist auch gut: Supermarkt + Bäcker um die Ecke. Eigener Parkplatz vorhanden. Es gibt zwar kein W-LAN, aber ganz ehrlich: Man kommt ja wegen der vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Und heutzutage gibt es ja auch ausreichend mobile Daten. Alles in Allem aber sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben selber mehrere Kinder und da ist es uns vielleicht bewusster als anderen Vermietern, was Familien mit kleineren Kindern brauchen. Familien sind uns auch deshalb von Herzen willkommen. Grüße aus Sonthofen auch an die anderen Familienmitglieder!

De woning ligt in een rustig stukje Sonthofen. Een erg leuk stadje met vriendelijke mensen, zekere in vergelijking met Oberstdorf en Immenstad. Woning is niet geschikt voor langere mensen of mensen met rugklachten. Er is namelijk weinig ruimte omdat alles onder het schuine dak ligt. Dit maakt koken en afwassen tot een uitdaging. Steeds bij het uit bed komen stoot je je hoofd vanwegen de beperkte ruimte. Monika is een vriendelijke host die over veel extra informatie beschikt. De buren op de lagere verdiepingen zijn ook erg gastvrij en vriendelijk.
