The vacation rental
"Tal-Kitarra Farmhouse” is a newly built villa, designed on a rustic style. Attention was given to use as many of the farmhouse features as possible. Wooden beams, stone slabs, flag stone, together with a combination of old and new stones were used to give this farmhouse a rustic style. In fact original stone ‘mizieb' (gargoyles) and 'mrabat' were used.
This is th largest farmhouse, having 4 bedrooms (3 of which en-suite) indoor jacuzzi, a guest bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/dining/living combined, washroom, use of roof, sunny terrace and enjoying country views! The swimming pool (measuring approximately 28ft x 12 ft) also has a kids pool. Deck area is quite spacious, as well as the BBQ area, all South facing. |

The surrounding area
The locality of Santa Lucia, is situated in the North West of the island of Gozo. This is a quiet area, and mainly a farming village. Victoria, the capital of Gozo is only 5 minutes drive, while Dwejra Bay, one of the most beautiful spots for scuba-diving in the whole Mediterranean is only 10 minutes drive. Ggantija Temples, a World Heritage Site and one of the oldest free standing temples in the world is only 15 min. drive. Country roads leading to beautiful country spots are only minutes away. Local Store is only 2 minutes walk from the farmhouse while the neareast restuarant is only 5 minutes drive. The area is very safe and parking is definately not a problem. Our weather makes Gozo an ideal holiday place all year round.

Activities
Certain sport facilities such as Gym, tennis courts, 5-a-side artificial football pitch, etc are recommended to be booked as early as 1 month before. All the facilities are less than 5 minutes drive from the farmhouse.

Although this is a 4 bedroom property, we can cater to couples for a romantic holiday / honey and also to large groups. Larger groups wanting a property of up to 10 bedrooms can be also accomodated. Ideal for a holiday all year round!

Travel information
After arriving at Malta International Airport, one has to drive for 45 minutes to Cirkewwa in order to take the ferry to Gozo. The ferry takes 25 minutes to cross over to Gozo, and then one has to drive a further 15 minutes to reach the accomodation. Contact us for direct transfers. |
