The vacation rental
If you are looking for somewhere to relax as a family, a couple or on your own, we will be delighted to welcome you to one of our gites or guest rooms. The Domaine de L’Astic is also ideal for family reunions, groups or equally for organising seminars.
You will also be able to enjoy our private swimming-pool (75 m2) with an adjoining shallow pool for children. There are also indoor game’s rooms with table tennis, table football and a pool table. Outside there are play areas with a volley ball court, children swings and “boules”.
They all have a fully equipped modern kitchen including a dish-washer, electric heating, a television socket and a place for parking.
Laundry facilities and a public telephone are also available. |

The surrounding area
The southern Ardeche offers a wealth of places to visit:
VALLON-PONT-D’ARC (7 km): Vallon is the starting point for the descent of theArdeche River through one of France’s most spectacular lime stone gorges.
If you decide to paddle the river, you will pass under the famous Pont d’Arc followed by 30 km of wild scenery and white water rapids. Thursday is market day, one of the largest in the region.
BARJAC (11 km): This old renaissance town, full of charm and history, was in the past an important staging and market town. Now beautifully restored, an ideal place to relax, watch the locals play “boules” on the square under the shade of the plane trees. There are also many souvenir shops, a market on Friday and festivals throughout the year.
There are many museums, show caves, prehistoric sites, Ardeche wine cellars and the nearby Côte du Rhône and of course many local unspoiled villages full of rustic character and charm, just ask for details, we know them all!
The domaine de l’Astic is an hour’s drive from Avignon, Orange and Nîmes with the Pont du Gard and Roman Ampitheatre
The Mediterranean sea is only 1 1/2 hour’s drive and the Camargue 2 hours.
