Holiday destination
The house is located in the small holiday resort, Clair de Plage, which has a swimming pool. Since the houses face the sea, there is little direct contact with the resort.
In summer supermarkets, restaurants and lots of entertainment facilities such as discos, tennis, mini golf, karaoke are all nearby. At other times of the year, activities are more restricted.
The former fishing town of Frontignan la Peyrade is also part of Frontignan Plage. It has all necessary facilities. On Thursdays and Saturdays there is a large and attractive market here.
Sete, criss-crossed by numerous canals, is just 7 km from Frontignan-Plage. Sete has many typical restaurants and is famous for its fruits de mer, particularly oysters.
Getting there
It is possible to travel via Freiburg, Mulhouse, Lyon or Saarbrücken, Metz Dijon, Lyon or through Basel and Bern in Switzerland, past Lake Geneva and through Lyon.
After Lyon, continue in the direction of Marseille, Montpellier/Barcelona up to the Sete exit, Frontignan, Frontignan-Plage

Als wir in dem Häuschen ankamen, war es nicht gereinigt. Wir waren die Ersten in der Saison und mussten zunächst 3 Stunden putzen. WLan und Fernseher waren während unseres Aufenthalts nicht funktionsfähig. Die Spülung der oberen Toilette war defekt und wurde nach 3 Tagen repariert. Die Schlafsituation war nicht annehmbar: Im oberen Geschoss gibt es zwei Betten auf engstem Raum, beschmutzt und eine ausziehbare Couch im Nachbarraum, die nach Auszug keine waagerechte Liegefläche bietet. Im Untergeschoss kann man nur auf einer ausziehbaren Couch schlafen. Eine Herdplatte ist defekt und der Kühlschrank war verschimmelt. Nachdem wir der Vermieterin die Situation schilderten, versprach sie, uns finanziell entgegen zu kommen, was sie letztlich nicht tat. Eine schlimme Erfahrung!

Wir haben einen wahren Traumurlaub in diesem schönen Ferienaus verbracht. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht die Küche war auch super ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ganz in der Nähe des Ferienhauses und in Frontignan gibt es einen Lidl und einen Aldi .Als Ausflugsziele würden wir auf jeden Fall St. Guilhem -le-dessert empfehlen und natürlich Montpellier. Ganz lieben Dank nochmal an Frau Griieb für den netten und unkomplizierten Ablauf ! Leider sind unsere Urlaubsdaten im nächsten Jahr schon vergeben sonst hätten wir sofort wieder gebucht.
Aber das Meeresrauschen ,der Blick auf das endlose Meer und die schönen Strandspaziergänge werden uns noch lange in schöner Erinnerung bleiben....
