The region Aquitaine offers more than 300 miles of marked and paved biking trails. In addition to that, there are excellent biking opportunities in the wide pine forest and the poorly frequented roads inland.
The region has also become a happy playground for golfers from all parts of Europe. Within 30 miles, there are 12 golf courses.
Holiday destination
Hossegor is a neat holiday resort which is located directly at the Atlantic coast. It has a beautiful, widespread and miles long sandy beach.
There is also the saltwater-lake Lac d‘Hossegor with low and high tide which is particularly appropriate for children and windsurfers.
Many kinds of sports are offered in Hossegor: Golf (18 holes), water ski, tennis, riding, surfing and many others. In the near surroundings are broad pine forests which are ideal for hiking and biking.
The neighbouring harbour of Capbreton with its sailboats and yachts, the casino and its shimmering nightlife have made out of Hossegor one of the most popular spots along the southern French Atlantic coast.

Das Haus war wieder einmal eine tolle Empfehlung von Ihnen, Herr Bell. Wir waren das erste Mal in Hossegor mit den Rädern. Das Häuschen war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gab alles was man braucht. Die Vermieterin empfing uns sehr freundlich. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Strandabschnitte und ausgebaute Radwege für interessante Radtouren. Die Nähe zu capreton ist perfekt um über den Markt zu bummeln und am See ein paar Austern zu essen.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und über Sie buchen.

Es freut mich sehr, dass sich meine Empfehlung für Ihren Aufenthalt in Hossegor wieder als die richtige Wahl erwiesen hat und Sie die Region diesmal mit dem Fahrrad entdecken konnten.
Hossegor und Capbreton sind für Radfahrer wirklich ideal: ein engmaschiges, gut ausgebautes Netz an Radwegen, kaum befahrene Landstraßen im Hinterland, der Markt in Capbreton und natürlich der See mit seinen Austern – da gibt es immer wieder Neues zu entdecken.
