The (peninsula) island of Nordstrand "green heart of the Wadden Sea" is located in the "Wadden Sea World Heritage Site", in the midst of the unique World of Holms and surrounded by nature reserves. The individual holms and islands can be visited by ship from Nordstrand.
Nordstrand has a well laid out cycling and walking network.
The nearest restaurant is about 500 m from the house.
The nearest town on the mainland is Husum, home of Theodor Storms (The Rider on the White Horse).

Coming from Hamburg: drive towards Husum, then towards Nordstrand, turn left on the second street in Nordstrand, drive about 6 km and turn right on the 5th street, Eesbüll 11

Wir hatten als Mutter/Tochter Urlaub mit Hund eine wirklich schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus Jan und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Besonders positiv überrascht waren wir, dass viele Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs bereits vorhanden waren- z.b.Geschirrspültabs, Spüli, Backpapier, Gewürze, Speiseöl, Seife, Toilettenpapier und jede Menge Handtücher.
Ein absolutes Highlight war für uns die Sauna mit separatem Eingang-perfekt um sich nach einem Spaziergang an der frischen Nordseeluft aufzuwärmen und zu entspannen.
Der Kamin hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen und wir haben die wohlige Wärme sehr genossen.
Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal an der Nordsee und haben uns im Ferienhaus Jan sofort wohl gefühlt. Ein herrliches Häuschen mit Kamin und Sauna. Alles sehr lievevoll und gemütlich gestaltet. Ruhig und doch zentral im Ort gelegen. Ganz nette Vermieterin. Es hat uns so gut gefallen das wir für 2027 wieder gebucht haben.
