Cancellation policy
§ 2 In the event of non-utilisation of the contractual services, the guest is obliged to pay the agreed or customary price, less the expenses saved by the lessor. Decisive for the time of withdrawal and for the amount of the withdrawal costs is the receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the landlord:
a) within 24h after reservation (only if more than 42 days before the start of the rental period) 50 € processing fee, otherwise the following applies
b) more than 42 days before the start of the rental period 30% of the rental price,
c) 42 - 29 days before the start of the rental period 60% of the rental price
d) 28 days - 1 day before the start of the rental period 80 % of the rental price
e) 90% of the rental price in the event of cancellation on the day of commencement of the rental period or in the event of no-show.
The usually saved expenses are taken into account in the lump sum. The hirer is at liberty to prove that no or lower costs were incurred in connection with the cancellation.
§ 3 The landlord is obliged in good faith to let the holiday home elsewhere if possible in order to avoid losses. Until the holiday home has been let to someone else, the guest shall pay the amount calculated in accordance with § 2 for the duration of the contract. If the holiday home is re-let at a lower rental price than the original rental price, the difference shall be settled from the cancellation costs according to § 2. In addition, even in the case of a complete subletting, a processing fee of € 100 will be charged.

With its central location in the Rhine valley it is the ideal starting point for trips to Strasbourg in Alsace, Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Freiburg. The nearby Black Forest can be comfortably explored in day trips.
The Europa Park is by car, via the Rhine Valley Highway comfortably reachable in a good 30 minutes.
A wide range of leisure activities such as horseback riding, paragliding, mountain biking, bicycling leaves little wishes to come shortly.
Getting there
Rheinau is located only 10 minutes from the capital of Europe Strasbourg / Strasbourg on the German side of the Rhine, and is conveniently to reach on the A5 motorway, exit Achern or Appenweier. If arriving by train you should choose the the station Offenburg, Kehl or Kork.

Wer ein besonderes Ferienhaus möchte, ist hier gerade richtig. Eine wunderschöne Aussicht ins Grüne, wo sich Spechte, Störche und Eisvögel tummeln, erwartete uns. Dank der umfangreichen Dokumentationen übers Haus und die Ausflugziele fanden wir uns hier rasch zurecht. Auch die freundliche Betreuung vor Ort liess keine Wünsche offen. Sehr zu empfehlen!
