Get to know the volcanic past of the Eifel mountains on a hiking tour around maars and through quarries. Lava-Dome, the volcano museum, illustrates our history. Tip: Descend 30m into the basalt mazes of 3 square kilometers!

Getting there
By car: Leave the A 48 at exit nr. 4 (Kaisersesch). Turn right and drive in the direction of Kaisersesch. Downtown turn left at the Sparkasse, then follow main street uphill. Shortly behind the Lidl supermarket, turn right in the direction of Masburg. Turn right again at the second street (Meisenweg). Go straight until the end; LarAlina is the last but third house on the right.
By train:
There's a regional train from Andernach. Kaisersesch is the terminal station. Upon consultation, we will pick you up there. On foot, it's ca. 800m.
By bus:
Various lines travel from Koblenz, Mayen, Cochem or Daun to Kaisersesch-Bahnhof.
