Cancellation policy
Section 4 Cancellation and Early Termination
If the tenant cancels the contract before the rental period begins, without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract on the same terms and if re-renting is not possible, the deposit will be retained and the following proportional rents are to be paid as compensation:
Cancellation:
- up to 90 days before the rental period begins: 30% of the rental price
- up to 60 days before the rental period begins: 55% of the rental price
- up to 30 days before the rental period begins: 75% of the rental price
- from 29 days before the rental period begins: 100% of the rental price
- in case of no-show without cancellation: 100% of the rental price
The landlord will make an effort to re-rent the property.
The tenant can at any time prove that the landlord incurred less damage.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The relevant date is the date on which the landlord receives the notice.
In case of cancellation before the rental period begins, a processing fee of 100 € is due in any case, which may be offset against the deposit.
It is strongly recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.
