In the immediate vicinity is the water level tower as well as numerous restaurants that you can easily reach on foot. The Goitzsche used to be an open-cast mining areas and was voted the third most popular lake in Germany in 2018. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, which is ideal for taking long walks. Sights in Bitterfeld and surroundings: Biterfelder Bogen, Leipzig (Battle of the Nations Memorial), Ferropolis (City of Iron), Wörlitzer Park, Lutherstadt Wittenberg.

Eine schöne Gegend am Goitzsche See mit neuen Bungalows die sehr minimalistisch ausgestattet sind. Zu wenig Platz zum Kochen/Zubereiten von Speisen. Sehr kleine Singleküche. Keine Möglicjkeit zum Trocknen der Badesachen/Handtücher - ein kleiner Wäsche Trockner könnte Abhilfe schaffen.
