Das große Ferienhaus bestand aus zwei Wohnungen, eine im Erdgeschoss und eine im ersten Stock. Die Wohnung oben war zwar gut, die untere jedoch deutlich schlechter. Ein Problem in beiden Wohnungen war, dass der Eigentümer sie so vollgestopft hatte, dass man keinen Platz mehr fand, um seine eigenen Sachen zu verstauen. Die Wohnung unten war mit ausrangiertem Gerümpel möbliert. Und im Schlafzimmer unten gab es keine Vorhänge an den Fenstern, sodass man ab 5 Uhr morgens in einem hell erleuchteten Raum saß.
