Holiday destination
Approximately 50 km south of Munich, Rottach-Egern is located at the southern end of Lake Tegernsee. From there, the Suttenhütte can be reached via the scenic Valepp toll road, climbing around 300 metres in elevation.
The road passes the Sutten cable car, which carries hikers to the summit of Stümpfling during the summer months and provides direct access to the Spitzingsee ski area in winter.
Right from your doorstep, countless adventures begin. In summer, you can set off on breathtaking hikes through the Valepp Valley, up to Wallberg, or to the summit of Stümpfling. Spectacular alpine experiences await just outside the door.

Ich war mit meiner Schwiegerfamilie auf der Suttenhütte und wir hatten ein tolles langes Wochenende. Die Zimmer-Bad-Raumaufteilung ist perfekt für 4 Paare. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe absolut toll. Morgens auf der oberen Etage vor dem Zimmer draußen Yoga oder Meditieren… herrlich. Die Hütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht! Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter, so war es schade das es die Sauna leider nicht mehr gibt aber unten am See ist die herrliche Monte Mare wo man es sich auch gut gehen lassen kann. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend für Wanderungen, Radtouren oder Trail Runs aller Art auf allen Fitness Levels. Die Gastgeber der Suttenhütte sind tolle Menschen und haben uns gute Routen empfehlen können. Besonderes Highlight war der kleine süße Fuchs den wir durchs hohe Gras streunen sehen konnten! 1A Wochenende, vielen Dank! ☺️

Wir hatten die Möglichkeit nach unserer Hochzeit in der Suttenhütte zu übernachten. Elisabeth und Jens haben alles super vorbereitet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hütte ist perfekt ausgestattet für einen tollen Urlaub in den Bergen. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert!
