Holiday destination
Westkapelle is situated directly by the sea, amidst beach, dyke, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a forest area to the south of the town.
A marked hiking trail circles the lake, and anglers can find their favored spot. Right at the town center, there is a small beach at the location where the dyke was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town starts the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can enjoy endless strolls along the shore. Even during a hefty southwesterly storm, this beach route is lively, and not just on the beach itself.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop by for a good meal, with a fantastic view of the sea.
Getting there
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrivals from 4:00 PM (or by arrangement). Departures until 10:00 AM (or by arrangement). In the high season, arrival and departure only on Friday or Saturday (rental only per week). Look for our current occupancy schedule on our website.
