Cancellation policy
We offer free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. In this case, you will also receive a full refund of your deposit.
For cancellations between 14 and 7 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 30% (minimum €50).
For cancellations between 7 and 2 days before arrival, the fee is 80% of the total price.
For cancellations made less than 2 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the cancellation fee is 100%.

Other recreational opportunities
Many hikes can be started directly from the house, for example the Caspar David Friedrich Trail. This approximately 15 km long themed trail leads you in the footsteps of the famous Romantic painter to his original subjects. Highlights include 12 information panels with sketches by Friedrich, the Imperial Crown, and the Wolfsberg.
Holiday destination
Krippen is a state-recognized resort town and a district of Bad Schandau. Located directly on the Elbe River, it's an ideal base for exploring Saxon Switzerland. Many attractions are easily accessible from Krippen, even without a car. Thanks to the "Gästekarte mobil" (guest card), public transport in the region is free. Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the town into the rocky landscape of Saxon Switzerland.
Getting there
Access to the house is from Friedrich-Gottlob-Keller Straße. Please note: there is no access from "Kleinhennersdorfer Straße".
You will normally arrive from the direction of the town center, so turn right into the driveway just before the turnoff towards Kleinhennersdorf – before the bridge !!!
The courtyard and double garage are about 50 meters further on – via the driveway to the right of the house.
The main entrance is also on this side of the house.
Please note there are two entrances; the brown wooden door is the main front door. This door leads to the stairwell and thus to your vacation apartment on the first floor. The key safe is located next to this door.
