Thanks to its ideal location close to the beach and the dunes, De Verkenner (The Explorer) is an excellent base for beach and nature lovers. The surroundings are perfect for long walks, cycling tours and relaxed days by the sea.
The charming centre of Callantsoog is within a short walking distance and offers a variety of shops, cafés and restaurants. Nearby you will also find the protected nature reserve Het Zwanenwater, known for its diverse landscape of water, woodland and dunes.
De Verkenner (The Explorer) is also ideally located for day trips. Destinations such as Texel, Den Helder, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Schagen and Amsterdam are all easily accessible.
Getting there
The holiday bungalow is located in a very quiet, almost car-free street. For loading and unloading, the car can be briefly parked nearby. Free parking is available in the street and at the end of the street with ample parking spaces.

Wirhatten einen mega schönen und sehr erholsamen Urlaub.
Das Ambiente vom Bungalow war einfach toll.
Super gepflegt und sauber.
Tolle Einrichtung sehr modern und absolute Wohlfühleatmospähre.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft definitiv einfach nur weiterempfehlen!
Super Lage was den Weg zum Strand als auch zum Ortskern angeht, beides einfach und unkompliziert in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen.
Vielen lieben Dank auch an Herrn Spijker für das unkomplizierte Miteinander und Ihre nette und freundliche Art.
Es war ein wunderbarer Urlauber und wie schon erwähnt einfach nur empfehlenswert!!!

Liebe Familie Spijker, wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, dass wir Ihre Unterkunft nutzen durften. Es war traumhaft, einfach perfekt. Ihr Ferienhaus entsprach genau den von Ihnen gemachten Angaben und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Ausstattung beeinhaltete mehr als erwartet. Auch die Lage ist wunderbar, nah zu den Zugängen am Strand und den Geschäften und doch sehr ruhig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen Sie weiter.
