Holiday destination
We are situated in the heart of beautiful, peaceful countryside, about 45 mins from Cherbourg on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula. We have three self-catering cottages (Gîtes) - Stable Cottage,Chèvrefeuille and Jasmin. Our farm is a veritable haven of peace and tranquillity where children can play in safety. We are only 6km from beautiful sandy beaches, and ideally placed for visiting Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and beautiful sandy seaches, or day trips to Jersey, Guernsey or even Paris. The attractive market town of La Haye du Puits, 8km away, has all the shops you need, including two supermarkets. If you are a fan of French street markets there is one available every day within easy driving distance.

Host informationWe moved to Normandy with our 2 daughters in 2006, we love the countryside and beautiful sandy beaches. Nothing makes us happier than eating the fruit and vegetables we have grown, or riding our ponies! We are currently applying for French citizenship. We live on site and are on-hand for any questions and can suggest activities and days out.

Eine wunderschöne Woche! Wir waren zu zweit plus unserer Hündin dort: ein Traum! Unser Haus war komplett umzäunt, so dass unsere Jacky rein und raus konnte,
der Garten ist wunderschön und läd zum Verweilen ein. Ein wunderschöner, einsamer Strand ist nicht weit entfernt mit dem Auto,
Wil und Amanda sind liebevolle, aufmerksame und herzliche Gastgeber, wir hatten viel Spaß mit Ihnen und sie waren immer für uns da.
Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt für das komende Jahr gebucht haben,
Das Haus ist gemütlich, allerdings hätten die Bäder eine Renovierung dringend nötig,
Die Hühner laufen durch die Gegend, die Ziegen warten immer auf Brot und die Pferde sind wundervoll gepflegt. Ein Traum für Natur liebende Menschen!

Wir haben im Stable Cottage einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht.
Super Pool, nette Gasgeber.
Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders Marla war begeistert von den Pferden und den anderen Tieren. Schön war, dass sie die Pferde mit auf die Koppel bringen durfte.
