The best way to explore our attractive scenery is by bike along the well signposed cycle tracks (Krabat and frog cycle track, cycle track Sorbian impressions). Worth to see is the cloister Saint Marienstern, the cultural-historically valuable Old Towns of Bautzen and Dresden, the saurian park and crazy garden in Kleinwelka.

Formerly as an awake station in historical via regia founded place, Dürrwicknitz lies in the border area between the upper Lusatian Teichlandschaft in the north-east and the west Lusatian hilly countryside in the southwest. Our region is stamped by customs above all of the Slavic Sorbs (Serbja) living here for over 1400 years. Our melodious mother tongue can still daily be heard in our village and our coloured national costumes still determine the everyday picture like the parties in the course of the year. From the living faith and the impressive national devoutness of the Sorbs many hundred crucifixes and other public religious signs testify in the villages, on the halls and before the farms.

Wir waren mit unseren Enkel und Urenkel in der sehr schönen Unterkunft haben es genossen im Garten mit den Kindern zu spielen und Abends den Grill angemacht sehr entspannt die Kids waren mit den füttern der Hühner beschäftigt. Wir haben es schön ausklingen lassen bei den Billard spielen auch die Preise für Getränke waren sehr billig fast wie im Supermarkt. Alles in allem für jede Familie mit Kindern kann ich es nur empfehlen bei einem guten 2000 qm Garten kann man sich schön erholen. Danke sagt Familie Köppen mit Enkel und Urenkel

Schöne große gepflegte Zimmer, Ausstattung vollständig, sehr schöne Umgebung mit ganz viel Grün, kaum Ortsdurchfahrt, traditionelles kleines Dorf, große Garten, Gastgeber sehr freundlich, üppiges Frühstück. Würde wieder buchen.
