Holiday destination
The old fisherman's house is located in the small, idyllic fishing village Santa Luzia in the East Algarve, about 33 km from the Faro Airport. The small municipality, separated from the open sea by the Ria Formosa lagoon, is still authentic with an intact, vibrant village life.
The fine, golden shimmering sandy beach stretches for many kilometres; it doesn't get many visitors and is ideal families, water sports enthusiasts and seashell collectors.
Getting there
Santa Luzia is about 28 km from the airport in Faro, Seville is 160 km away and Lisbon 280 km.
Public transport services, train or bus, are a convenient way to get to Santa Luzia. I'll be happy to pick you up at the train station in Tavira.
You can rent a car at the airport or here in town.
