Holiday destination
Ramsau was elected the first village for mountain climbers in Germany. It's surrounded by high mountains and you will enjoy it's quiet atmosphere. Close by you find the city of Berchtesgaden with it's sight-seeing highlights and the famous Königsee. Just behind the village is the Watzmann, one of Germany's highest mountains. You'll find several lakes around the village and the sport centers Inzell and Ruhpolding are not far away
Getting there
You can reach Ramsau easily via the highway from Munich towards Salzburg and then travel to Berchtesgaden and Ramsau. An alternative would be to fly to Salzburg and take a rental to Ramsau. Salzburg is only 40 minutes away.
