The area is perfect for shopping in Den Helder, Schagen and Alkmaar or (a little further away) Haarlem/Amsterdam. You can visit several museums in the area, there are also nice museums for children. A 10-minute drive away is an extensive play paradise (indoor and outdoor) for the little guests. From Schagen you can reach Amsterdam in an hour by train.

Callantsoog is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and vast dune landscapes. The centre of Callantsoog is cosy and lively, with a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and markets. In the vicinity of Callantsoog you will find a number of nature reserves that you can visit. Callantsoog is conveniently located in relation to other interesting destinations in North Holland. Places such as Alkmaar, Schagen and Den Helder are easily accessible and offer additional possibilities.

Getting there

Via Amsterdam, follow the A9 towards Haarlem, then Alkmaar. Then follow the N9 towards Den Helder. Not at Callantsoog, but then at 't Zand/Groote Keeten leave the N9. Follow in the direction of Groote Keeten and you will pass our house with the next to Blue Barn holiday home.

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderbar! Alles war sehr sauber geputzt, es gab leckere Sachen zur Begrüßung und sogar Handtuchservice. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und gute Betten. Mehrere Möglichkeiten, im Garten die Sonne und die Aussicht, direkt in die Felder, zu genießen. Zur Tulpenzeit muss es ein Traum sein! Die Vermieter, Anett und John, sind sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich, auch die beiden süßen Hunde :-). Man kann sogar Frühstück gegen Gebühr buchen. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig!

Ich kann mich den Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die Vermieterin ist super sympathisch und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist total gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war unfassbar sauber. Wir würden dieses Haus immer wieder buchen und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.
