Holiday destination
In the exciting Taunus landscape (Nassau Allgäu) you'll find the little village of Fischbach (part of Bad Schwalbach, 7 km). Nearby: Rheingau, the Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site with mediaeval castles, the romantic Wispertal, Wiesbaden and Mainz. Hills and valleys, streams, meadows and deciduous and mixed forests characterise the picture: ideal for hiking (signposted hiking trails). The area has a fantastic climate. The house is located on the edge of the village, facing southeast and southwest, with a view of the nature.
Getting there
From the south and east: A 66 to Wiesbaden, toward Rüdesheim, then B260 toward Koblenz, at the second traffic light take a left toward Lorch (L3374), after 1 1/2 km turn left to Fischbach. You can also drive from the end of the motorway on the B42 t o Eltville Mitte, then via Kiedrich and Hausen for der Höhe to Fischbach.
From the north: A3 to Idstein, B275 to Bad Schwalbach, then toward B260 (Bäderstrasse), further on the L 3374 toward Lorch, after 1 1/2 km turn left to Fischbach.
All: In the village accross from the inn, turn into the street zum Wildpark, parking after 600 m.

Diese Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht. Rundum toll. Fischbach ist ein gut erhaltenes Dorf, in dem man wunderbar ausspannen kann, auch aufgrund des fehlenden Netzes. Sehr zu empfehlen. Bad Schwalbach ist zu Fuß in 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Also ist man nicht grundlegend auf die Linienbusse (die auch Feiertags regelmäßig fahren) angewiesen.

Als Duftstoffallergiker war ich sehr glücklich, eine Wohnung gefunden zu haben, in der es nicht nach Seife oder Weichspüler stinkt. Aber auch in allen anderen Punkten können wir den anderen Bewertungen zustimmen. Es war alles bestens. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herrliche Lage in der ruhigen Natur; aber in 20 Minuten ist man in Etville oder Wiesbaden und in 40 Minuten in St. Goarshausen am Rhein. Auch haben wir eine schöne Wanderung durch das Wispertal gemacht. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
