Make the most of your holiday and discover the island! Your accommodation is right on the edge of the forest, and the wide North Sea sandy beach is just 2 kilometers away. Thanks to our central location, you can enjoy excellent bike rides, hikes, or car trips across the island.
The villages of Den Hoorn, De Koog, and Den Burg are just a few kilometers away.
In the Texel forest, there are beautiful cycling and hiking trails, a mountain bike path, and areas for playing and barbecuing.
The famous 'Fonteinsnol' observation tower, from which you can see the entire island, is located diagonally opposite the hotel.
Getting there
From Den Helder, the ferry departs once an hour (at half past the hour) to Texel. During school holidays and on many Fridays, there is a departure every half hour. More information about departures and waiting times can be found at www.teso.nl. Reservations are not possible.
On Texel:
You can reach 'Bos en Duin' by driving from the ferry on Pontweg towards Den Burg. After Den Burg, at roundabout 11, turn left onto Rozendijk. After a few minutes, you will see our hotel on the left side.

Wir waren nun schon zweimal hier und beide Male war der Service und der Standard hervorragend. Die Wohnung, die wir hatten, war makellos, mit allen Geräten, die man zum Kochen benötigt, und um seinen Aufenthalt auf Texel zu genießen.
Das Personal ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten keine Probleme, als wir spät ankamen; sie fanden Lösungen, die gut für uns funktionierten.
Unser Ausblick erfasste die Felder, die das Hotel umgeben, und war ein Faktor, der zur Ruhe und Gelassenheit unseres Aufenthalts beitrug.

Sehr ordentlich und gut gepflegt.
Ich hätte 5 Sterne gegeben, aber meine Matratze war durchgelegen.
Und da der Preis zu hoch war, um darauf zu bestehen, dass die Mieter bei der Reinigung der Wohnung helfen, z. B. die Betten abziehen und den Müll rausbringen.
Gute Lage und ruhig.
