Wir waren im Juni 2024 mit unseren beiden Enkeln Gäste im Hahmanns Häusl. Man kann den Vermietern nur den Hut ziehen, die aus einem ehemaligen Bedienstetenquartier ein solches Juwel geschaffen haben. Das Haus ist liebevoll und modern eingerichtet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben die Zittauer Berge durch zahlreiche Wanderungen erkundet. Wir fanden großartige Schwimmmöglichkeiten am Olbersdorfer See und im Waldbad Seifhennersdorf. Wir planen bereits unseren nächsten Urlaub im nächsten Jahr, um die Zittauer Berge mit unseren anderen beiden Enkeln zu erkunden.

Das Häusl, ein für die Region typisches Fachwerkhaus, ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch, bis hin zu einigen knarrenden Dielen. Es ist mit allen erdenklichen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und kooperativ. Das einzige Problem, das möglicherweise für einige Gäste, z.B. mit kleinen Kindern, bestehen könnte, ist die sehr steile Holztreppe zum Obergeschoss, wo sich die beiden Schlafzimmer befinden. Das Badezimmer mit Toilette befindet sich im Erdgeschoss. Ein echtes Highlight ist der Blockraum = Wohnzimmer - der vollständig aus Holz besteht. Die Lage des Hauses ist ebenfalls einfach großartig. Es liegt in der Nähe des Mandauflusses. Entlang der Mandau gibt es Dutzende von Fachwerkhäusern, eines neben dem anderen. Es fühlt sich an, als wäre man in einem Freilichtmuseum, nur dass die Häuser alle von Einheimischen bewohnt sind. Interessante Ausflugsziele sind in der Nähe, z.B. Zittau, Görlitz, Herrnhut, der Kurort Oybin und auf tschechischer Seite Liberec/Reichenberg sowie der Ještěd/Jeschken-Berg. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen! Fünf Sterne!
