The "English House" gets its name from the owner and architect of the same name, Manfred Englisch. This is a bungalow from the 1970s. The house has approx. 54 square meters of living space inside, plus an additional 20 square meters in the converted garage and is quietly located on the outskirts. It impresses with the wonderfully large, park-like property of 1400 square meters. Behind the house there is a 20 square meter terrace with an awning. Garden furniture is available in summer. At the lower part of the property, a garden gate leads to the children's playground in the small community of Härtlingen (420 inhabitants) and a hiking trail through the forest. There are two parking spaces in the courtyard. The heating takes place via a modern heat pump and underfloor heating, with cooling function in summer. Inside the garage there is an infrared heater for the use of the second bathroom / sauna in winter, as well as seating and lounging options. Overall, Härtlingen has good connections and is 1 hour away between Cologne and Frankfurt. Montabaur with its ICE connection is 15 minutes away. The village is surrounded by the Elbbach valley with its wonderful cycling and hiking trails. A place further in Elbingen is the Waldsee, where you can swim in summer, with an associated Italian restaurant with a garden terrace. In the village of Kaden, 1 km away, a bakery is only open in the morning. For shopping you will find what you are looking for in Westerburg with various supermarkets. Various restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The Wiesensee (10 km) is suitable for water sports fans. There are two golf courses on the Westerwälder Lake District and on the Wiesensee (10 km each). Also recommended are the Holzbach Gorge near Seck and the Marienstatt Monastery near Hachenburg, as well as the wildlife park in Bad Marienberg. There also climbers get their money's worth on the via ferrata. The Stöffel Park near Enspel offers a tertiary, industrial and adventure park, as well as cultural events throughout the year.
