Holiday destination
Shopping facilities are approx. 1.5 km away, the Baltic Sea beach Weidefeld, which is free of tourist tax, is a 10-minute drive away and a bathing spot on the Schlei is 80 m away. Slipway for water sports and a nice children's playground are also only 80 m away from the holiday home Pippa.
The picturesque harbour town of Kappeln (approx. 3 km away) enchants with maritime flair. Restaurants are lined up along Kappeln harbour, bordered by the old town. Old smokehouse, museum harbour and Angelner steam railway: tradition is held in high regard in Kappeln. Enjoy a boat trip on the Schlei.
Discover the picturesque Schlei villages (best by bike). Water sports are also very popular in the Schlei region. Visit the towns of Schleswig (with the Viking museum Haithabu), Flensburg or the seaside resort of Eckernförde. The Geltinger Bay north of Kappeln is known for its beautiful and numerous natural beaches and a large nature reserve with wild horses and numerous bird species. There is much to discover!
Getting there
By car (from the south): A7 to Rendsburg, B203 to Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln or A7, A215 to Kiel, B76 Eckernförde, Eckernförde-Kappeln.
By train: train ride to Eckernförde, Bus 3010 Kappeln/Kopperby. During the saison (until the end of October): Kappelner Dampfeisenbahn Eckernförde-Kappel (especially at the weekends).

Host informationMy name is Kerstin Lueckow. My husband and I bought recently the very cozy holiday home "Pippa" (Danish style) in Kappeln/Kopperby . We start the rental at the beginning of October 2021.

Ich fahre viel in den Urlaub und habe selten solch eine schöne Unterkunft gehabt. Das Haus ist mehr als gut ausgestattet. Es gab wirklich nichts, was fehlte. Das Kochen macht richtig Spaß, da die Küche groß und hell ist und alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt, vorhanden ist. Der Kaminofen ist fantastisch für Winterreisende. Und nach einem langen Spaziergang kann man in die tolle Sauna gehen. Alles ist gut im Prospekt beschrieben, so dass man es leicht hat, alles zu bedienen. Die Betten sind urgemütlich. Ebenso das Sofa mit den Sesseln. Die überdachte große Terrasse ist perfekt. Ebenso der Fahrradschuppen für die E-bikes ( Fahrräder sind sogar vor Ort!) Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist sehr unkompliziert und freundlich!!! Alles in allem: 5 Sterne !!!
