The Nieuwlanderweg/Postweg is a long road that leads from Den Burg all the way through the fields and ends in De Cocksdorp, not far from the lighthouse. Where Nieuwlanderweg turns into Postweg, at the height of De Koog, about 2 kilometers from this seaside resort, you will find the house. All natural areas - including the dunes of Texel - are right next to the door.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the signs for De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg again, turn right onto Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can't go any further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.
