Cancellation policy
5. Cancellation by the tenant
a) Before the start of the rental period, the renter can withdraw from the rental agreement by making a written declaration to the lessor. The time of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the landlord is decisive.
b) If the tenant cancels the rental contract, they must pay a flat fee equal to any expenses already incurred by the landlord and any lost revenue in the following amounts: cancellation up to 60 Day before the start of the rental 50%. Thereafter, 100%. Taking this into consideration, the tenant is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.
c) The tenant retains the right to prove that the landlord has not been caused to suffer any losses, or only a negligible amount of loss.
d) The tenant can designate a replacement tenant who is prepared to assume the rental contract in their place. The landlord can object to the entry of the third party if this appears economically or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the lease, he and the previous tenant are jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the rental price and the additional costs arising from the entry of the third party.
e) The landlord undertakes, in good faith, to try to let the unused accommodation to another party. If successful, the landlord undertakes to offset any money thus saved against any cancellation fees due to be paid.
f) Should the tenant depart early, they shall still be obligated to pay the full rental price.

Holiday destination
Bergblick holiday home is located in one of the most sought-after residential areas in Prien am Chiemsee. The "Ernsdorf" district is slightly elevated, in the south-eastern part of the town of Prien am Chiemsee.
Not too far away there is a public bathing area "Schramml", the Chiemsee yacht club (next to the hospital), Chiemsee boat rides, the Prienavera adventure pool and much more.
Getting there
When you leave the A8 motorway, drive about 2 km on the B305 towards Prien am Chiemsee. Then take the first exit at the roundabout (Harrasser Str.) and drive another 2.7 km to Erndorfer Str. Now turn left and drive approx. 350 m to Watzmannstrasse, which is on the left. When on Watzmannstr. please park on the left-hand side (gravel parking lot). Please only use free parking spaces.

Das Ferienhaus Bergblick ist sehr sauber, modern und dennoch gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch die Küchenausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und es ist alles was man benötigt vorhanden. Allerdings haben wir nur das Frühstück an dem großzügigen Essplatz im Wintergarten (schöner Blick in die Natur) eingenommen und sonst diverse Restaurants besucht. Dass man nicht direkt am Haus parken kann hat nicht gestört, da uns ein Bollerwagen zur Verfügung gestellt wurde mit dem wir unser Gepäck transportieren konnten. Der Kontakt zu Frau und Herrn van Laak war sehr freundlich und es war ihnen spürbar ein Anliegen dass wir uns in ihrem Haus wohlfühlen. Wir haben die Zeit im Haus Bergblick sehr genossen und werden bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt am Chiemsee dieses Haus sehr gerne wieder buchen.

Wir haben dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal unseren Sommerurlaub am Chiemsee verbracht und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Nah zum See, aber trotzdem im Grünen. Das Haus ist frisch modernisiert und es fehlt an nichts. Den Gasgrill haben wir gerne genutzt. Perfekt war auch der separate Abstellraum, in dem wir unsere Fahrräder nachts laden konnten. Familie van Laak können wir als freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber nur weiterempfehlen.
