La Tranche sur mer plage is on a beautiful sandy beach stretching for kilometers in both directions. The house is in a quiet location away from the roads and just 100m from the sea. There is a beach bar in the summer months, shops and restaurants within walking distance 10 mintes. There are daily street markets within easy driving distance (mardi/samedi).

Host informationWe are originally Parisians but in love with the West coast at La Tranche sur mer which is located opposite the Ile de Ré.
We fell under the spell of this small seaside town also called "Little California" thanks to its climate.
The lighthouse district, where our house is located, offers an exceptional spot for kitesurfing, windsurfing, of course swimming with beautiful waves.
The sandy beach as far as the eye can see allows you to take long walks to the town center or to the pine forest to cool off.
A small bar restaurant with its feet in the sand, offers you the possibility of having lunch on the beach.
or have a drink after swimming.
