    Cancellations We advise that you to take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance when booking, just in case you need to cancel your holiday. If you cancel your holiday more than 6 weeks before your arrival date, we will retain the non- refundable deposit of £100. If you cancel your holiday less than 6 weeks before your arrival date, we’ll make every effort to re-let the cottage. If we are unable to re-let the cottage, you will be required to pay the full rental price. If the cottage is re-let, we will retain £25 administration fee and refund the remainder of your balance to you. If the property should become unavailable or unsuitable for letting subsequent to booking through any cause, the owner's liability shall be limited to the amount of any rent paid.

Walking and mountain biking are available from the cottage. Perfect for touring all parts of Scotland as Newtonmore within easy reach of Inverness, Perth and Edinburgh.
    Getting there
    Steading 5 is situated on the main road into Newtonmore. Arrival is by driving north up the A9 from Edinburgh and Perth.

    Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhäuschen verbracht. Die Unterkunft bietet allen Komfort und ist für eine Familie super ausgestattet. Alles funktionierte perfekt und nach der ersten Ferienwoche wurden sogar die Betten frisch bezogen und die Handtücher gewechselt. Nette schottische Nachbarn wohnten nebenan. Der Ort selbst liegt mitten im Nationalpark und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Man sollte allerdings die Entfernungen nicht unterschätzen. Uns hat vor allem die Freundlichkeit der Einwohner sehr gefallen, wir wurden überall freundlich empfangen. Im Ort können wir das Restaurant Letterbox empfehlen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern verlief sehr reibungslos per Mail. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

    Sehr schön eingerichtete u. gepflegte FW; großer Garten! Sehr nette Vermieter mit deutschen Sprachkenntnissen! Newtonmore ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge! In der Wohnung lagen viele Wanderrouten und Ausflugsziele bereit: z.B. Loch Ness; Balnuaran of Clava (Steinkreise), Burgruinen, Rentiertrecking, Dogsheeping auf der LeaultFarm,... In der Wohnung ist eine Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster, ein Gästebad im EG; schöner Holzfußboden im EG! Im OG: 2 schöne Schlafzimmer mit schönem Bad. Trockner u. zus. Waschmöglichkeit im Keller! Im Ort selber befindet sich ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, ein Geldautomat, ein Freilichtmuseum, ein schönes Restaurant (Letterbox),...! Sehr zu empfehlen!
