Apartment 18 in the 2nd construction phase of the Residenz Bollwark is literally "on the Baltic Sea". Wherever the eye looks, water extends to the horizon. The Schlei, Germany's longest estuary, which flows into the Baltic Sea off Olpenitz, fills with the white sails of small and large boats in summer.
Nearby is the town of Kappeln with many cultural offers, a swimming pool, shops and Europe's last remaining herring fence. Every year on the Ascension weekend, the herring days are celebrated in Kappeln - an unforgettable experience!
The Schlei Nature Park stretches around Olpenitz with its vast, unspoilt nature and fascinating flora and fauna, which you can explore wonderfully on foot or by bike. For example, via the Viking Friesenweg or the Baltic Sea Cycle Path, which connects the cities of Flensburg and Lübeck over 400 kilometers.
Please note that the development of the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz has not yet been completed, so that construction activities may occur.
There is a modern Edeka market with a bakery, a café and a range of hot dishes at the entrance to the resort (open every day). Aldi, Rewe and other shops in Kappeln - approx. 7 km away,
The apartment is in a new development area. You will be able to enjoy your vacation in this waterfront apartment. You need a car or at least a bicycle on site for the "local supply".

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut aufgeteilt und sehr ruhig (Nebensaison) gelegen. Nur die Tefal-Kochtöpfe sind sehr zerkratzt und zum Kochen ungeeignet. Eierlöffel fehlen bzw. Teelöffel sind zuwenig vorhanden. Es fehlt ein Weg direkt an der Ostsee (Strandpromenade). Der Weg im Ostseeresort Olpenitz ist als Fußgänger nicht ungefährlich, da gleichzeitige Nutzung durch Fahrräder und Kraftfahrzeuge. Restaurants (nur eine Pizzeria) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Edekamarkt ohne (!) Frischetheke mit Käse, Wurst und Fleisch, nur abgepackte Ware) in fußläufiger Nähe sind kaum vorhanden.
