Holiday destination
The village of Saint-Germain-Sur-Ay is a small coastal Manche village set within its own natural harbour. We have a baker, a butcher and a grocery store, as well as a small bar and a good restaurant, all within easy walking distance of the house. There are beautiful walks very close to the house around the harbour, and fantastic sandy beaches which remain uncrowded even in summer. There is plenty so see and visit locally, the Mont st. Michel, Bayeux, nez de jobourg, Cherbourg and landing beach sites are all wishing easy driving distance, and day trips to Paris, Jersey, & Guernsey.

Die Wohnung ist gut aufgeteilt und gemütlich. Kein deutsches TV. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den liebevoll angelegten Garten ausgiebig genutzt. Mr Drayton ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank schon mit einigen Dingen gefüllt, ein frischer Blumenstrauß stand auf dem Tisch und es gab eine Flasche Wein. Der Strand ist 4,5 km entfernt. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Laden, wo man morgens frisches Baguette kaufen kann. Zum Laden gehört eine Bar mit toller Terrasse nach hinten, die Pizza schmeckt großartig.

Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Hr. Drayton ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer zu einem Gespräch bereit . Er hat viele Tips zum Einkaufen, Tanken etc. bereit. Vom Ort aus günstige Verbindungen nach allen Richtungen des Cotentin . Auto aber wichtig! Absolut weiterzuempfehlen!!!!!
