The house is located just below the former railway line, which is a cycling path today. The parcours santé on the hil of Saint Ferréol is a few minutes away on foot.

Wir durften im August zwei Wochen als Familie im Ferienhaus Les Mille Iris verbringen. Das Haus und der liebevoll angelegte Garten versprühen genau den provenzalischen Charme, den man sich für einen Urlaub in Südfrankreich wünscht. Auch bei 38 Grad findet man ein schattiges Plätzchen, während es nachts angenehm abkühlt. Der große, private Garten bietet viel Platz zum Spielen, Lesen und Entspannen und natürlich zum Schwimmen im großzügigen Pool. Nur an Mückenspray sollte man denken, wenn man empfindlich auf Stiche reagiert. Die moderne Küche ist bestens für die Selbstversorgung ausgestattet und die Aufteilung der Schlafzimmer und Bäder sehr praktisch. Ein großes Lob geht außerdem an die Vermieter und den Verwalter vor Ort. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit freundlich, schnell und unkompliziert.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus hat von innen und außen den französischen Charme den wir mit der Provence verbinden. Die 3 getrennt liegenden Schlafräume sind ideal für Familien mit mehreren Kindern, 2 Räume davon bieten einen direkten Gartenzugang. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und Dank der größeren Bäume auch natürlichen Schatten, wobei auch ausreichend Sonnenschirme vorhanden sind. Die abendliche Beleuchtung setzt alles in Szene. Der Pool ist groß mit einem Tiefbereich. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, jedoch vom belebten Zentrum nicht weit entfernt. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr steil und teils etwas eng. Die Ausstattung in der Küche bietet alles in ausreichender Menge, die man benötigt.
