The excursion boat will leave the port of karlshagen for a beautiful voyage down to Wolgast, on the peenestrom. From Peenemünde you can sail to the Greifswalder oie, where you can explore nature and hike ( e.g.: sea eagle can possibly be seen,...)

Holiday destination

The gorgeous, fine sandy beach from Karlshagen is only a 20 minute walk away. One of the yearly event is the world biggest beach volleyball festival. Along the boardwalk, you will find plenty of lounges, playground and a spa garden. The nearby bicycle track linked Karlshagen with the other coastal resorts.

Getting there

By car: coming from berlin, take the A20 till Exit "Gützkow". Follow B111 to Wolgast and the Island usedom. In Bannemin, take a left to Karlshagen. Short before the supermarket ( 'Netto' ), take a left. The vacation house is ca. 200 m on the right side located.

Mit der FeWo waren wir rundum zufrieden. Die Lage war wunderbar und so konnte man in 5 Minuten den Wald/die Heide erreichen und in etwa 15 Minuten das Meer. Die Ausstattung war sehr komfortabel: gemütliche Betten, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, Entertainment - alles da. Nur Geschirrtücher haben wir vermisst: also auf jeden Fall selbst einpacken, da der Geschirrspüler zwar funktioniert, aber das Geschirr nicht immer komplett sauber wurde. Der Kontakt zur Familie Hellebrandt war super - wir bekamen zeitnah nach der Buchung alle wichtigen Infos. Fazit: Jederzeit würden wir die Wohnung wieder buchen und sie ist für viele Reiseformen (mit Familie oder Freunden) sehr gut geeignet.

Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Haus Albatros. Die Umgebung lädt zum Erkunden ein, sei es mit dem Fahrrad, zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto.From Family with young children Roder from Naumburg · 30.08.2026

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Für die Kinder ist der Bollerwagen das Highlight. Ich vermisse aber einen Tritt , kleine Leiter oder Fußbank. Die Schränke sind sehr groß und für kleine Leute, wie mich, sehr schwer zu erreichen. Das zu Hilfe nehmen eines Stuhles birgt doch so einige Gefahren. Ich hoffe, dass ich nächstes Jahr keine Kletterpartie einlegen muss.
