Holiday destination
The house is in a very special location, right on the edge of ‘Le Marais’, a national park. In fact, the road at the front of the property can flood at very high tides (Don’t panic, there is a back road too)! Sheep graze the land opposite the house and we are a short distance from the village of St. Germain sur Ay, with its shops, restaurants and glorious sandy beaches

Das geräumige Haus liegt an einer wunderbaren Stelle. Die Nachbarn sind freundlich und nicht laut. Die Gegend ist wunderschön met schönen Dörfchen entlang der Küste.
Leider ist eines der 3 Terrassenfenster weg und ein anderes ist gebrochen.
Zwei Kleinigkeiten: In der Beschreibung der Ausstattung steht das es ein Bügelbrett und ein Eisen geben soll, leider fehlt das Eisen. Wegen dem Wind wären Wäscheklammern eine Lösung, die gab es leider auch nicht.
Das Engagement des Eigentümers war etwas enttäuschend. Trotzdem hatten wir 2 wunderbare Wochen.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche gehabt mit Hund und 2 Teens und sehr gutem Wetter. Es ist ein wunderschöner Blick auf die Salzwiesen und bei Flut kann man das Meer auch sehen. Mme Rabouan hat uns sehr nett empfangen war gut erreichbar und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist für 4 Personen großzügiger Platz. Wir haben gekocht und die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Bäcker ist mit dem Rad auch gut erreichbar. Die Menschen waren in Coronazeiten alle sehr bedacht, rücksichtsvoll auch z.B. auf dem Markt oder beim Metzger. Es war von allem etwas dabei, Strandfeeling, Besuch des Mont Staint Michel, Wanderung durch die Salzwiesen oder durch schöne Wälder. Unser Hund konnte auf dem eingezäunten Grundstück laufen. Die Nachbarn mit Zuweg über unser Grundstück waren sehr nett. Weiterfahrt nach Paris :-)
