Holiday destination
The lakes halfway north of Berlin to the Baltic Sea - Mecklenburgische, Feldberger and Uckermärkische - form a unique end moraine landscape that is breathtakingly beautiful in all seasons.
In summer one finds many lonely bathing places.
The artists' village Fürstenwerder, 2 km away, was the source of inspiration for the award-winning novel "Before the Festival" by Sasa Stanisic.
Places worth seeing: Feldberg, Carwitz, Wolfshagen, Krumbeck, Neustrelitz, Stagaard Castle. . .
Getting there
For cyclists I recommend to take the train to Templin and start there along the cycle path "Spur der Steine" about 35 km directly to the house.
With train to Prenzlau, then bus 416 to Fürstenwerder, then 2 km walk
Coming from western Berlin by car, take the B 96 to Fürstenberg, then Lychen, Feldberg, Wittenhagen, Fürstenwerder, 2 km before that turn right onto Königsweg. Already here!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus absolut genossen! Das Haus ist nicht nur äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt.
Die Ruhe und Stille hier sind einfach himmlisch. Der schöne Garten lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein. Der Standard der Unterkunft ist sehr hoch; man sieht, dass die Vermieterin viel Liebe und Sorgfalt in die Einrichtung und Pflege des Hauses steckt.
Die Lage ist perfekt: Der See ist nur einen Steinwurf entfernt, sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit dem Fahrrad, und eignet sich hervorragend zum Schwimmen oder einfach zum Genießen der Natur. Der Wanderweg, der direkt am Haus vorbeiführt, bietet viele Möglichkeiten, die Umgebung zu erkunden.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit; die Kommunikation war von Anfang an ausgezeichnet, und wir erhielten viele hilfreiche Informationen.
Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus wärmstens und werden definitiv wiederkommen!
