Host's notes
Cancellation policy
When we receive a signed copy of your contract and 30 % non refundable deposit, your booking is confirmed.
We require the balance on your day of arrival as well as the damag deposit and the payment of the option.
If the booking is cancelled by the renter the non refundable deposit is kept. If within one month of arrival the balance can be required.
If the booking is cancelled by the owner, he will pay back the deposit and if it has been paid, the balance without any extra compensation.
If this was to happen, we of course try to find a satisfactory solution.
During school holidays we only rent full weeks from saturdays to saturdays.

This is an ideal region to practise activities in the nature such as walking, horse riding, cycling, swimming, and all sorts of sports in link with the sea and the wind (sea kayak, windsurfing, sailing dinghies or bigger sailing boats, sea wlaking, kite surfing...)
Some activites are only available in the summer. It is also perfect to do nothing !
Holiday destination
The cottage is situated in a peaceful landscape, at only 700 meters from the sea in a very preserved environment in the Regional Parc des Marais du Cotentin. From the property you can walk, ( cycle, or drive) down picturesque lanes to the sea and enjoy the countryside and nature. 4 km from Quinéville where you will find the best cakes in La Biscuiterie, a sailing school, horseriding courses, a restaurant and few other services. 1 hour from Bayeux Tapestry and 2 hours from Mont Saint Michel.
Getting there
We can be flexible concerning the times of arrival and departures.
Do not forget to take the directions with you as our property doens't show on google or sat nav.
To find us when you arrive from Caen on the RN13, please take the exit Montebourg
In the village, follow the signs towards Quinéville/ Quettehou.
At about 8 km, at the round-about still follow Quettehou.
At about 3 km, turn right towards the sea JUSt before the sign of the village of Aumeville lestre
At about 100 m, turn left at the old blue gate; Follow the lane, the cottage is on the right at the end !

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem bezaubernden Ferienhaus verbracht.
Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber war sehr herzlich.
Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Sehr ruhige Lage, wunderbar zum Erholen. Mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zum Bäcker und zu einem schönen Badestrand in Quinéville. Aber auch Ausflüge zu den D-Day-Stränden, schönen Küstenstädten, Leuchttürmen im Umkreis bis zu einer Stunde möglich.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Das Ferienhaus ist stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Es ist sehr romantisch, überall wunderschöne Blumen, der richtige Ort zum Entspannen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist sehr herzlich und wir kommen alle 1-2 Jahre immer gerne wieder.
Es gibt keinen Lärm durch irgendwelche Straßen, höchstens durch die Natur.
Highlight in der Umgebung sind eine Unzahl an Orchideen.
Fußläufig kann nun Austern kaufen, 2km entfernt. Vielleicht die Besten in Frankreich. Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Wanderungen am Meer entlang unternehmen. Auch mit dem Rad kann man direkt vom Gauß aus schöne Touren durch das Hinterland und auch am Meer entlang unternehmen.
Zu empfehlen ist auch ein Besuch der vielen Märkte, wo man fantastische Produkte kaufen kann und im Haus zubereiten kann.
