Attractions in the area: Lovely hiking trails through the Eifel’s green nature, passing the maar lakes on the “Eifelsteig” (Eifel-Trail) or on the “2-Bäche-Pfad”. The castles of Manderscheid and Cochem, the Eltz castle, the maar lake museum, the “Vulkanhaus-Strohn” and its 120 ton lavabomb, the look-out tower “Vulcano-Infoplattform”, the Eifel bell-foundry, summer tobogganing, three large animal- and amusemet parks, a manufacture for candles and wax. It is 35 km to the Nürburg race track, 75 km to Koblenz, 70 km to Luxembourg and there is much more…
It is only a few minutes’ drive to the beautiful river Mosel(le) and its towns of Trier, Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem, from where you can take a cruise along the lovely vineyards.
Getting there
Approach:
Take the motorway A48/A1 Trier and Koblenz and take the exit “Hasborn”. Now , take a left and drive through the village of Hasborn. After 200m, take a right towards Oberscheidweiler, your holiday resort. At the local crossroads, take a left, go 50m towards the church, take a left into the street “Auf dem Büschel”. Go another 50m and we are on your left. Welcome!

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit super Ausstattung.
Sehr nette Vermieter.
Zum Wandern und spazieren gehen mit Hund einfach perfekt gelegen.
Ein schönes Örtchen mit guter Anbindung.
Vorort sind alle erdenklichen Getränke zu bekommen für einen angemessenen Preis.
Nur zu empfehlen.

Uns hat es bei Familie Fischer sehr gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Sie ist gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ser gut hat uns der Brötchenservice der reibungslos funktioniert hat gefallen. Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und ist für alle Fragen offen. Alles in einem ein super Urlaub und wenn es uns mal wieder in die Vulkaneifel zieht gerne wieder. Lieben Gruß Familie Krause
