Holiday destination
The famous castle Falkenstein has a lot to offer, built in the 11 th century, it seems to bring back the spirit of the middle ages and showcases the Burghofspiele (theatrical performances) every summer. Next to a hunting museum it also houses an à-la-carte-Restaurant.
The health resort Falkenstein is located as beautifully as the castle, in the midst of the second largest rock reserve in Bavaria. There a several hiking trails you can take from here, one of them leading you from a rock labyrinth referred to as “hell” to a the Perlachtal, a valley simply called “paradise” because of its beauty.
The historic center of Falkenstein and plenty of shopping opportunities as well as restaurants and sights are only a five to ten minute walk away from your holiday residence.
